rd_pin.gif - 1.02 KDirections for Using Eleotin®

1. PRESCRIBED MEDICATION - DO NOT discontinue or modify the level of consumption of any prescribed medication.  Your doctor should make all prescription changes.

2. ALCOHOL - Please abstain or minimize your alcohol intake. Alcohol consumption considerably diminishes the effectiveness of ELEOTIN®

3. RECOMMENDED CONSUMPTION - ELEOTIN® should be consumed 3-5 times a day. The following schedule is recommended:

Orange Box - One -Two drinks a day (30 minutes before a large meal).
Green Box - One-Two drinks a day (take on an empty stomach, between
                       breakfast and lunch, and between lunch and dinner).
Violet Box    - One drink per day (take before bedtime).

4. ELEOTIN ®POUCHES - Each 8 grams pouch can make either two medium-strong drinks or four weaker drinks. We recommended that you start slowly and work your way up to the medium-strong drinks. If any discomfort is detected, please reduce the drink strength for a while. If discomfort persists for an extended period, discontinue use.

5. PREPARATION OPTIONS:

i) The most effective preparation is to brew ELEOTIN® like other oriental herbs. This involves slowly brewing the powder over low heat to allow for the active ingredients to seep out into the water. The amount of water depends on your preference. The water is to be reduced to a volume of 180ml after brewing. You may either use less water to enjoy a strong taste, or use more water to have several weak drinks throughout the day.  It does not matter which method you prefer. *However, please keep in mind that more quantity does not necessarily mean better results. The recommended dosage of ELEOTIN® is ½ to ¼ of one pouch.
ii) You may brew ELEOTIN® in a pot for 2 ~ 3 hours.
iii) You may use a microwave oven to brew ELEOTIN® at low heat for about 15-20 minutes.
iv) You may pour ELEOTIN® into warm water, stir and drink it.
v) You may also directly consume ELEOTIN® powder. In this case, the absorption rate and effectiveness are slower.

6. SEDIMENT CONSUMPTION -  After finishing an ELEOTIN® drink you may notice residual sediment at the bottom of your container/glass. This sediment is extremely beneficial and should be consumed or made into another drink.

    rd_pin.gif - 1.02 KResearch for Type I Diabetics

    ELEOTIN® was initially developed at the University of Calgary, Canada for Type II diabetics. Animal and human trials conducted at the University of Calgary have produced consistent results. Human tests using ELEOTIN® for three to six months have shown the following

  • Significant reductions in blood sugar levels (over 50%);
  •  Return to near normal glucose levels for seventy percent of users;
  •  Glucose levels remain stable even after ELEOTIN® usage is discontinued for an additional three-month period; and
  • ELEOTIN® is safe or free of side effects.

  •

    As of June 2001, ELEOTIN® has been sold to over 20,000 Type II diabetics since March 1998. We have extremely encouraging results from these initial users and are confident in recommending ELEOTIN® to all Type II diabetics.

    New Preliminary Results

    Recently, EBMR has begun testing a modified version of ELEOTIN® on Type I diabetics.  To date, we have only tested handful of Type I diabetics with ELEOTIN® over a three-month period. So far the tests have shown some surprisingly positive results. All have had BGL (Blood Glucose Levels) reductions and one person has, with the approval of his doctor, reduced his daily insulin intake. All have indicated that they feel healthier.   Please, refer to the science section of this web site for detailed information on the test.  We are encouraged but, we would like to caution you not to be too optimistic.
